The word Yoga loosely translates to ‘yoke’ or ‘connect'; in this class we practice the traditional yoga style of Hatha Yoga, bringing together the principles of yoga through our physical practice. Our traditional Hatha Yoga classes are based around a balanced practice of asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (breath techniques), subtle yoga ethics and relaxation/meditation. Each of our brilliant teachers bring their own style and experience to their class, making each one a unique experience. Anyone can practice Hatha Yoga, aspects of the class can be modified to suit beginners or those with specific physical considerations. Equally your teacher is on hand to provide progressive options should you wish to take them. This is a slower practice than the Vinyasa or flow style classes so more accessible for those still finding their feet when it comes to the core postures or prefer to enjoy more time in their holds.
