Yoga: Mastering The Basics

Join us as we lay the groundwork for a safe and authentic practice that will last a lifetime with a 2 hour immersive workshop class.
Yoga truly is for everyone, with the right support and guidance this beautiful practice can offer endless benefits to your health and wellbeing.
Whether you are a lockdown internet yogi, have never stepped on to a yoga mat, or would simply like a refresh on the foundations, this special event has been created to provide a nurturing and informative introduction to the practice.
We will be introducing; key asana (postures), modifying your practice to suit your body, basic pranayama (breath work), using yoga props, key spiritual themes and gentle meditation.

Hosted by Amber D’Aniello who works with a method known as the BAST method of sound therapy, developed over 25 years and aims to help you relax deeply.
After settling the group she will start by playing Himalayan singing bowls, followed by the ethereal sound of the crystal singing bowls.
Amber will finish with therapeutic percussion sequence in which she plays rain sticks and shakers which get progressively stronger and gradually louder ending in silence.
The session is 45 minutes long and will leave you feeling relaxed and nourished.
